The 4 verdicts
✅ CLEAN: pair is at least 24h old and passes every check below.
🟡 NO RED FLAGS YET (NEW): passes every check, but is under 24h old (or its age is unknown). New coins dump often; we never call them CLEAN.
⚠️ SUS: one or two red flags, no RugCheck report, or the volume/liquidity rule fired.
☠️ REKT: RugCheck marks it rugged, mint or freeze authority is on, three or more red flags, or price down 80%+ in 24h.
Red flags we check
LP lock: under 50% of liquidity locked or burned is a flag. A lock alone is not safety.
Mint / freeze authority: if the dev can still mint new tokens or freeze wallets, the verdict is REKT.
Holder concentration: top 10 holders owning over 40% is a flag.
Liquidity: under $5K is a flag.
Price crash: down 80%+ in 24h is a flag (and makes it REKT).
RugCheck risk score: 50/100 or higher is a flag.
Volume vs liquidity: 24h volume at 10x liquidity or more on a pair under 6h old, or 100x at any age, means SUS. Added Oct 16, 2026 after misses; one day of backtest, so treat it as a working rule, not a proven one.
Extra context (shown, not scored)
Dev history: we look up the wallet that created the token and count its other launches, and how many are dead (no pair, or under $1K liquidity; for bonding-curve tokens, under $10K mcap and under $100 daily volume). Busy wallets may show a partial count.
Copycat detection: we search DexScreener for other tokens with the same or near-identical name/ticker. The most liquid one is labeled "likely original", which is not proof it is legit. Counts are a lower bound.

Every coin we call is rechecked every 10 minutes for 48 hours. We reopen the case if any of these happen since our call:
liquidity down 40% or more
price down 50% or more
dev wallet sells 50% or more of its bag
mint or freeze authority re-enabled
LP lock drops from 50%+ to under 50%
volume at 10x liquidity or more on a pair under 6h old
